Share Your Insights: Take Part in the Scottish Tourism Industry Survey

The Scottish Tourism Alliance (STA) has launched its latest industry survey, seeking to gather insights on the current business environment in the tourism industry as we approach the summer visitor season. The survey covers topics such as business performance, confidence, the labor market, and future trading outlook. The findings will be used to inform the newly established New Deal for Business Group, co-chaired by Neil Gray MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Wellbeing Economy, Fair Work and Energy, and Dr. Poonam Malik, Head of Investments at the University of Strathclyde.

Your responses will also provide valuable evidence for updating Richard Lochhead MSP, the new Minister for Small Business, Trade, and Innovation. While the survey mainly focuses on devolved matters, the STA continues to lobby the UK Government on reserved issues, including VAT reduction, duty-free shopping, levelling-up funding prioritisation, and increased energy support for businesses.

Rest assured, all survey data will be treated confidentially. The results will inform government decisions, be shared with members, and utilised for media publicity. The survey consists of 23 questions and should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. The survey will close at 5 pm on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.

We encourage all hospitality and tourism businesses, regardless of size or type, to participate in the survey. You can access the survey by clicking on the following link: https://bit.ly/3q3LbCf
