The Donald Steps Down

The Donald steps down

SLTA chairman Donald Campbell has stepped down from the high-profile role after two years.

Respected industry veteran Donald Campbell, who is sales director at Inverarity Morton, was described by SLTA chief executive Paul Waterson as an “outstanding chairman who has worked hard to help rejuvenate the association, grow its membership and make it more relevant to the needs of the licensed trade in Scotland in the 21st century”.

Campbell said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed being at the sharp end of the SLTA and I thank Inverarity Morton for supporting me during my two-year tenure as chairman. I would also like to thank Paul, Colin Wilkinson and everyone else involved in the SLTA for their commitment to the association and the licensed trade which is so important to Scottish society and the economy.

“While the hard work will continue I am delighted that the association is in such a strong position and focused on the future.”
